Custom Foot Orthotics
Custom Orthotics can help greatly reduce foot pain, knee and hip pain and even lower back pain. Our feet are our connection with the ground. If they are “out of balance” then it effects the rest of the chain up to our spine. Orthotics are not needed by everyone. There are times when the structure of the foot cannot be improved enough to prevent abnormal forces going into the joints of your knees, hips and spine. In these cases, a custom-fit orthotic can be quite valuable. Especially for people who are on their feet a lot!
Sole Supports custom orthotics are a unique design in orthotic engineering. Unlike many other orthotics, Sole Supports support the foot and arch throughout the entire gait cycle. Sole Supports are able to do this by molding the orthotic with the foot in an unweighted position which allows the natural curves of your foot to be supported.
Massage therapy is manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being.
There are two fundamental categories are:
Rehabilitative massage – also known as deep tissue, medical, therapeutic or clinical massage; practiced in many settings like clinics, hospitals and chiropractic offices
Relaxation massage - also known as Swedish massage; practiced in settings like spas and wellness centers.
Both types are offered through the massage therapist.
